We've perfected the setup so you don't need any tools: unfold, snap in the frames, tighten the straps – done. In less than 5 minutes, you can transform the VIK 3.8 PRO from a compact package into a highly stable folding kayak. Our specially developed locking mechanism is rock solid and guarantees maximum rigidity on the water. After your trip, disassembly is just as quick. In our Berlin production, we use recycled hollow-core panels and a slim aluminum frame. The result: You comfortably carry your boat to the lake as a backpack, take it with you on the S-Bahn, or store it in the smallest campervan. With a pack size of only 70 x 55 cm, you become completely independent of roof racks or heavy trailers. You'll barely feel it on your back – but on the water, it delivers the full performance of a hard-shell boat.
Well-conceived to the last step: Product Engineering from Berlin
The VIK 3.8 PRO is the result of intensive development work in our Berlin production facility. We tested until the formula was right: a hull made from recycled hollow-chamber panels – light enough for a total weight of 12 kg, yet robust enough for years of tours.
Specially developed frames and our precise locking system are manufactured exclusively in Germany. For you, this means a quick, absolutely tool-free assembly for uncomplicated setup.
From the first sketch to final production, we rely on "Made in Germany" and short supply chains. The VIK is backed by countless prototypes, so you don't have to think twice at the water's edge. You get a folding kayak that simply works.

We produce durable sports equipment, not a disposable product – you have our word as developers and manufacturers.
