Assembling the VIK Folding Kayak in 4 Steps

  • Step 1

Unfold kayak

Place the folded VIK in front of you. Unfold the left and right kayak sides—bow and stern. Then simply flip it onto the kayak hull, and you're done.

  • Step 2

Straighten bow and stern

Pull the VIK kayak bow toward you and securely close it with the ratchet lock. Now tighten the magnetic fasteners. The bow and stern are closed.

  • Step 3

Lock the frames

Place the C- and D-ribs in the kayak hull and secure them with the threaded screw. Align the ribs in the VIK. Done.

  • Step 4

Insert kayak seat and footrest

Place the carrying system in the kayak and secure it with the buckles to form the seat. Insert the footrest and connect it to the kayak seat. Your VIK folding kayak is ready.
