Setting New Standards in Folding Kayak Design
From a concept to our own workshop
The idea came almost ten years ago: a kayak that could be folded and transported by bicycle. At the time, our co-founder, Daniel, lived in a small apartment in Berlin, with no car but with a great passion for the water.
The first prototype was created using materials from a local hardware store—improvised but functional. But a prototype isn't enough if you want to develop a truly good product. Over the years, countless tests, adjustments, and further developments followed until the idea became a market-ready folding kayak.
Daniel's partner, Constanze, was brought on board early on. Together, they further developed the concept, contributing their diverse perspectives, and tackling the challenges of product development. What began as an individual project gradually evolved into a joint venture, ultimately leading to the founding of the company.
Today we stand not just for a product, but for a well-thought-out solution for people who like to be flexible on the go.
This is what drives us
Flexibility for real adventures
A kayak should adapt to people's lives—not the other way around. Our folding kayak makes the following possible:
- Spontaneous excursions without complicated transportation
- Flexibility, whether by bike, train or car
- Independence for adventures on the water, whenever and wherever
We continually strive to further develop our products—with new design approaches, improved materials, and optimised manufacturing processes. We remain true to our philosophy: high-quality, durable, and well-designed kayaks made for outdoor enthusiasts.
Ready for your next adventure? Then hop aboard.
Our values – quality, innovation and customer focus
Independent and sustainable
Made in Berlin
Our folding kayaks are handcrafted on the outskirts of Berlin. From cutting the materials to final assembly – we have full control over every single production step.
What's important to us:
- High-quality materials designed for longevity
- Ethical, local production to ensure quality and keep transport routes short
- Direct contact with our suppliers to ensure full transparency about the origin of our materials
Today, we operate in a 900-square-meter facility with our own CNC cutter, a metal workshop, and direct access to the water. This allows us not only to manage our production independently, but also to test and further develop our kayaks directly on-site.
Not a short-term trend
Ten years in development
Although we officially launched our kayak in 2022, we've been working on it for much longer. We've been tinkering with new designs, testing materials, and optimising production processes for almost ten years.
We're not a brand that follows trends – our folding kayak is based on years of experience and genuine development work. Our goal was never to simply release another outdoor product, but to create a thoughtful solution that stands the test of time.
